We carry computers in our hands, we use them at work or school, they are starting to drive our cars, we talk to them, they talk back to us and they are the source of a great deal of our information and entertainment. The ubiquity of computers means that many of the great jobs of the future will be computer related and knowing how to program them can be a very valuable skill in someone’s toolbox.

Kennon McCaa has worked as a lead developer and software architect for a successful Sarasota company since 1999 developing an insurance system used to process billions of dollars of transactions each year. As a lead developer, Kennon was often responsible for training new hires or interns and has gained valuable experience with regards to how programming concepts and skills develop slowly over time.
